In the destroyed city of Quneitra (Syria) is the grave of a Palestinian resistance fighter. His son, Omar Malas, the author of this script, tries to restore the deceased man’s history, by mixing the echoes of his mother’s memory with his desire to give a more honourable death to his father.
The film received the First Prize at the Freeburg Festival, the Grand Prize at the Bruges Festival and the Silver Palm Prize at the Valencia Festival.
