In July 2006, Israel attacked Lebanon.
Fathallah’s father receives daily visits from his neighbours, who come over to discuss the war, where to hide, and express their opinions on politics, whilst they sit around the television, which transmits images of the bombings of the suburbs and the south of Lebanon.
In the living room, six people from different religious and political backgrounds come together: Dalia’s father – Abu Amer, Um Assaf, Abu Hassa, Rami, Dahlia’s sister Zeina and Dahlia herself.
