Nasri Hajjaj

Palestinian writer and filmmaker, born in 1951 in Ain El Helweh Palestinian refugee camp- Lebanon.

1989- “Thus the Intifada Said… “ 47min documentary

1990- “Question Mark”, short animation film, won the Bronze Tanit at Carthage Film Festival, JCC –Tunisia

1991- “The Evergreen Oak”, 37min documentary with Majdi El-Omary

2007- “The Shadow Of Absence”, 84min documentary, won the Bronze Muhr at Dubai Film Festival.

Picture 1 A visual journey through the life and poems of the late Palestinian Poet Mahmoud Darwish.

It is a poetic approach to the life of the poet where the camera takes us through the cities, homes, theaters and writers who knew and loved Darwish poetry.

Throughout the film we are led by the voices of Darwish and other poets from all over the world reading his poetry.
